Alrighty! Sometime last night, it finally became fall. It is cool at last. Our six month Texas summer may finally be over, leaves will change colors. And with the rising energy costs we are going to turn off the air conditioner and light candles and roast hot dogs. I like October a lot because there are no high pressure holidays just good ole Halloween. It is the perfect month to be a grandmother.

They must have picked up on the fact that you're lighting candles and enjoying the cool outdoor weather - hence, OUTDOOR LIGHTING!
I am totally with you on October! Love it! Love it! I DO think that some people have gone a little overboard on the Halloween decorations - purple and orange lights all over trees and bushes and huge inflatable ghosts popping out of pumpkins! Crazy stuff -
kinda takes the fun out of Christmas doesn't it?
I can't wait till the Fall festival - I'm gonna be an Egyptian (surpised?)!
